EVGA GTX 670 FTW 4GB upgrade?

Thread Starter
I bought a GTX 670 FTW 4GB card recently because i wanted to have a setup with two monitors. What i originally though was that i needed 4GB of vram in order to run a game and have a browser window open, is this true or was i under the wrong impression? While i am very happy with my card it gets quite hot and i feel like i'm wasting its potential. How much do you think i could sell my card for (used for around 2 months, factory overclock) and would it be smarter to go for something like the MSI GTX 670 Twin Frozr edition with 2GB of vram.

I bought this card for $460 CAD and the MSI GTX 670 Twin Frozr card is around $400 CAD with shipping tax.

Thank you!

You don't need a 4gb card to run most games and a browser at the same time.

Sell it and get a 7970. thumb.gif

By the time you sell it used and buy a new card, you'll likely be down grading and breaking even. I'd keep the card.
