Msi Twin frozer 2 Crysis 3 Crysis

Hey guys, I have a msi twin frozer 2 gpu and when i play crysis 3 i have to set the graphics on the very lowest including the res to get around 45 fps frown.gif Other benchmarks say a 6870 can almost run it maxed out with 60 fps. I have a i7 960 cpu and 12 gigs ddr3 ram. Any ideas?

Thanks smile.gif

HD 6870 is too weak for running crysis 3 at max settings. turn off MSAA because its quite demanding . go for High quality without msaa and you should get 40+ fps. install the latest 13.2 beta 4 drivers.

yeah don't expect 60 fps on a HD 6870 at high settings without MSAA. anything around 40 - 45 fps is playable.

6870 can max out crysis 3? my 580 can only run it around 30 to 45 fps if i remember right
post #10 of 12
here i just played it using 1280X1024 Mediium settings, 6870 at stock my chip unlocked to hex 4GHz . . .

i am using 12.11 driver. Quad gets less minimum fps and that tells me it is behaving like BF3.
