Moving User Folder over question

Thread Starter
is it necessary to do on a 256GB SSD?

I mean i really dont have alot of documents and pictures or videos.

What about app data?
That is a question you can only answer yourself. It really depends on how much stuff you're going to be putting in there. Typically even if you have a lot of programs installed, the appdata directory doesn't get too large though from my experience. The bulk of the user profile folder is going to be Downloads, Documents/Music/Pictures/Videos, and potentially Desktop.

The biggest build-up of stuff may well be in your temp folder , which will be at appdata/local/temp ... I'd imagine a lot of games would dump some odd bits in there over time!

Yes. You can do it manually or just run CCleaner to do it.
