is my current power supply - it only has 6 pin sockets for my graphic card but my graphic card is actually 8 pin

is it worth upgrading to a power supply with 8 pin outlets? would it potentially enable me to overclock my graphic card further?

Short answer is no, what GPU do you have anyway?

In which case that PSU is miles over spec'ed either way, you can do SLi on a 750w PSU, ignoring that though, no, having 8 pin cables isn't going to make any difference, a better cooler on the card will but apart from that, no.
