AMD is a bit late but they are working on it too.

Frametimes on a single card aren't really an issue unless there is something REALLY wrong but when you introduce a pair of cards, The time it takes to communicate between each other and eachother to the cpu does introduce delays and thus microstutter is born

Wrong, buddy, as I said...
Since you seem to not want to use google for yourself, here:

http://techreport.com/r.x/7950-vs-660ti/skyrim.gif

Other sites have confirmed the results.... AMD has horrendously bad frame time distribution which introduces NOTABLE microstutter. Vsync again has nothing to do with this, please have some knowledge of terminology and how things work before flaming again.

MOAR POWER! I WANT GEFORCE TITAN TI SUPERCLOCKED SIGNATURE EDITION!!!!
biggrin.gif

Lol on a more serious note.....seems like great news, soon reviews will be up. Also omg, ive noticed Alatar and some others making folly predictions of how no single card will be able to match the Titan this year. Ok man, i would hold back on that thought if i were you, its wayyy to soon to make that kinda prediction.

Actually "Buddy" I am right, See they tested the game (when the whole frametime fad went through a few weeks ago) the game "skyrim" A game notorious for having problems, Microstutter is introduced when you are using 2 or more gpu's because it takes additional time to sync second third and fourth (If you choose to have 2 3 or 4) With the first card and create alternating frames, YES you can get better performance and often do get better performance using 2 3 or 4 cards over one, But until they get it to 100% scaling (pro hint you can get 99.999999999% but never 100%) scaling you will always suffer from microstutter in one form or another, Sorry buddy but this is how it works, you sacrifice very very minor slight amount of smoothness that most won't notice for additional performance by adding an additional gpu, That is why some people prefer a single high end gpu IE a titan instead of 2 lesser,

AND fyi to the other person

2 660s are far more powerful then 2 460s i had back then, And again i'm still playing at a higher resolution.

It doesn't matter what camp you are with, I've done it with cards from nearly every generation

9000 NVIDIA series, 8000 Nvidiia series, 200 Nvidia series, 400 Nvidia series 600 Nvidia series, 4000 AMD series 5000 AMD series 7000 AMD series, Guess what all smooth as butter with a single card bar a hitch here and there, Second you add an additional card? BAM microstutter.

You are claiming it can only occur on a multi-GPU setup but are 100% wrong as I have linked and is well known. Quit while behind.... AMD's cards have worse frametime distribution as I said.

Considering he/she can't comprehend frametime distribution causing the same visual effect as microstutter.... yeah, I kinda wonder too.

Considering this arguement started with multi gpu setups, Yes that is actually what i am talking about, I never claimed that it can't happen on a single card, It's possible if somethings wrong, Poorly coded game, Bad driver etc, But since you want to act like a child like everyone else, I am done with you.

Yet, it happens severely with AMD GPU's despite not having a "poorly coded game" or "bad driver" with "somethings wrong", it is a fairly widespread thing. Thanks for your input.
