When Nvidia releases it then I will believe it although I would take 2 770 or 780's over it anyway.

If yes,
Then how much have they managed to squeeze out of Kepler this time?

Anyone remember GTX 480 and GTX 580 (both Fermi)? thumb.gif
The difference between the 480 and 580 is that the 580 is clocked 10% higher on the core and slightly less on the memory, has 5% more shaders and TMUs, and has improved texture filtering capabilites and Z-culling. The performance difference between the two add up with the improvements in the core architecture, but there's nothing to suggest Nvidia implemented any improvements in raster performance from the first iteration of Kepler.

[H]ardOcp Editor in Chief just threw in a little bit of a bummer:

The OP of the thread mentioned some specs and that cards were out being reviewed atm. Then Kyle mentioned that the OP was wrong.

While, he could very well be wrong or trolling - I don't think he would purposely mislead his audience. Being an editor in chief of a highly respected tech news site, what do you guys think of this?

So, less performance than GTX 680 SLI for $900?

I have not seen specs presented to me by NVIDIA, so I do not know those for certain.

Given the time lines I have heard rumored on the launch date, again NOT from NVIDIA, I expect this to be a soft launch. Again, these are not facts, just what I THINK is likely to happen.

You want the card to have a 300w tdp instead of 235w!?
I agree if the clocks are made higher but you know what I mean

Its his second statement he wants to be right, as in some review samples HAVE already shipped, meaning the release date would be somewhat imminent.
