I agree if the clocks are made higher but you know what I mean

Its his second statement he wants to be right, as in some review samples HAVE already shipped, meaning the release date would be somewhat imminent.

I want as high clocks as possible out of the box because that also means that the voltage will be as high as possible out of the box.

I'm just kind of prepping myself for a very limited OC. 780 shouldn't be any competition for this Titan if it's supposed to be the first of its kind, a new 'Enthusiast' line. So it'll probably have killer performance out of the box, but hardly any OC room. But many reference 680's seem to be able to hit +100-150mhz with the voltage lock, so at least that would be something.

Sure will miss my Lightnings frown.gif I miss the Fermi days even more.

I think I will stick with a 670 SLI. Instead of grabbing the Titan, I will go with a 2nd 670 and a 3rd one perhaps later on.

Very happy with single 670 at 1440p 60hz but 2nd one will help me more.

Selling the Titan in the future will be a pain in the arse here in Turkey. Selling a 670 is always easier.

Great GPU though.

I have 670 ftw 4gb in sli so i wont upgrade intill they cant keep up with alot of games.

If it really is 300w per card, what kind of PSU would you recommend to run three titans ?
I also have an Asus RIVE + 3960X @ 4.4ghz, 4 HDDs and 1 SSD + 1 blu ray burner and a few fans.
I currently have a thermaltake toughpower 1200w, but I'm wondering if it would be enough if the 300w scenario turns out to be true...

Since Tesla K20x with 735MHz as clock have a TDP of 235W, having a TDP of 300W would mean that Titan is an insane beast.

Then we would be talking around 1000MHz for the shaders, and a higher memory clock than Tesla. Who wouldn`t want that...

Its still only 50W over 7970

732Mhz but indeed
I hope that they up the core clock and the voltage.
Would be dissapointing if they increase the memory clock.

Those of us buying this card don't give a crap about TDP. You don't buy this kind of card for its TDP profile.

Uh...you are more than fine with a 1200W......the possible TDP being thrown around right now is just over a 7970.

That is just the point. 7970 Ghz is 250, add any overclock onto that it goes up. So knowing K20X is 235 at factory....

What kind of clocks would it be running if it was 300W? biggrin.gif
