[wccf] NVIDIA GeForce Titan Features 6 GB Memory – Review Samples Already Shipped - Page 75

^ lol Indeed, besides price range is just pure speculation at this point, plus we'll find out soon enough, While i do plan to get 2-3 of these cards if possible, I think at 1000$ it's overpriced for the rumoured increase of 60-80% of a gtx 690 which is almost 1 year old, I would think a price range of 699-799$ is fair. Either way I will get them as I need an upgrade soon and they are the best, just 1000$ will leave a bad taste in my mouth as a loyal nvidia consumer for the past 9 years.

Now I can already see price gouging by 3rd party sellers that could go up to $1200-1400 USD.

I would, if I could, as Nividia. "Screwing" is a subjective nuance as seen through the eyes of the beholder (buyer). But, they would not screw the customers, because they can't, as the customers will vote with their proverbial feet by walking away, rather than their wallets, by buying it, if the customers see it as a "screwing". Forces of free market are a beautiful thing, even in an oligopolistic market structure.

So Sweclockers is now officially speaking for Nvidia? That is just a rumor. Nowhere have Nvidia stated that 700 series is coming in q4.

So this is being done to take single gpu crown away from AMD, and if only 10k are being produce ie nvidia will earns $10k from it all... does that even count with a card that isn't mainstream and rare?

This is just nvidia getting desperate from the dwindling sales of the over priced 6 series.. with nothing being set in stone, i suppose we will find out soon what this drama is all about.

They market chips they couldn't sell in their teslas so almost the price is the cost as pcb and components don't cost compared to the rest of the card lets say 800 dollar profit per card.
10000 of those would make 0.8 million dollars of extra profit for something they would otherwise put to waste.

Seems like a great deal for them and a great deal for us.
