If he did send you a real Titan, why would you screw him out of that money?

If he sent you a 680, then by all means get your money back from PayPal, AND make him pay for shipping to send the card back. wink.gif

That'd be the right thing to do, after making the wrong choice to pay $1600 for it in the first place.

Besides, I've dealt with PayPal both as a seller and a buyer, I really wouldn't rely on them to do the right thing every time. It's possible that even if you got a 680, that you wouldn't get your money back.

All he has to do is update the pics for his listing, provide a tracking number as proof of delivery, and PayPal could still rule in his favor. His listing does specifically state "No Returns Accepted".

It's a sticky situation, just order one from a legit retailer. Don't deal with shady eBay sellers.
I don't swing that way anyway.
It is just wrong to advertise that way with wrong info and indeed scamming this way is equally wrong just saying that Paypal + EU gives you an advantage.

“Packaging opened for stock photographing.”
Still not quite right as he took the picture from a site

So back on track...

We can get reviews on the 18th right? Which time zone does this normally go for? Because it's been the 18th for a while here, and I'd like to know how many hours I have to wait to finally get some facts. thumb.gif

Do you guys have any idea when the exact release for reviews should be? I was considering pulling an all nighter but if the reviewers are a different time zone I may as well rise nd shine to see them a couple hours late with a full body of energy. Also, they will not be available for purchase until the 24th right? Do not need to get ready to uy tonight or anything...?

Its been speculated several times that 9am EST the NDA will lift. Could be before or after that though...

If past releases are anything to go by it'll be 9AM EST. All rumors point to a paper launch but I don't think anyone knows for sure.

Cheers. Let's hope it'll be earlier than that, I don't want to have to wait that long. tongue.gif

I was against it at first, but now I kind of like the announce with reviews then product availability a week later (or whatever) strategy. Gives you time to read the reviews and make a decision before buying time. Otherwise you almost have to buy first, then go read the reviews, to be sure you get one.

I agree. I kinda hope they aren't available for public consumption til next week (like some of the rumors have said). That way I have plenty of time to peruse the reviews and get my money together.
