Thx biggrin.gif

didnt do much today, just picked up some acrylic which the guy mistakenly ordered me a 3cm clear acrylic while I asked for pearl white one
But Ive got my 2mm white acrylic for the motherboard panel cover
Made a dummy earlier this evening just to check whether the back of the motherboard touch the 2mm acrylic (and it didnt biggrin.gif )
I'm measuring up the total length for the motherboard cover now
And going to sketch the laser cut pattern for the front and side (pedestal)

Received some news that the laser cut acrylic for the top panel will be done tomorrow and hopefully if it looks good ill be receiving it by early next week

meanwhile had some problem cutting the 2mm acrylic with jigsaw, it shattered frown.gif
probably going to cut it with dremel though its pretty hard to get a straight cut from a dremel
I've tried with cutter but its a no go
any advice? I'm a first timer in cutting acrylic and yes I used saw blade for plastic and tried it with slow/medium/fast speed

I just use my dremel (plastic cutting blade) and then use some hand files to clean out the edges. You can also use a jigsaw with some metal cutting blades, but there is nothing the cuts acrylic better than a vertical saw.

gpu(s) still holding at the same temps?

This has been my dilemma, since I'll be having my loop as gpu - gpu - CPU - the rest of the loop
I know that if I get a delta of 5c for CPU, my GPU temp would be awesome
I know the impact of having such loop will be minimal compare to adding a radiator in between the gpu and cpu
but I'm not sure If i can get the maximum temp result from such loop with that many radiators
but thats the best loop I can come up, its shortest and clean

Made a few progress, though I'm going slowly with the progress; what I want is for it to be regular though only small per updates

anyway,

I've designed a few panel for the pedestal and some logo emblem for the front and will be sending it tomorrow for the laser cut

I've also drilled some holes for the front mounted radiator today
Decided to also paint the radiator white since i've extra white paint laying around

This is how the pump going to be

Took off the fan controller knob

After some painting

I've cut some acrylic for the motherboard back plate, going to cover the whole back side of the build

Gonna hold the making of 24pins hole, since still not sure how bendable the 24 pin extender

Thats all for now folks biggrin.gif

Dont forget to cut some slots for the GPU so it can slide in. Also did you end up using the Dremel to make the cuts???

Looking really good so far.

the gpu slot will come out from the psu cover , the usb 2.0, reset cables etc will also come out from the little gap in between the psu cover

Ended up with a combination of acrylic cutter and dremel, for the initial cut of the whole panel I used cutter + ruller till half of the thickness gone than cut it with dremel to finish off the rest of the thickness; the result is a straight cut thumb.gif

for the cpu hole , I used just a dremel, not overly satisfied with the result as its not a perfect square, but its far from visible when everything is assambled so I dont really care
but for the future ie 24pin hole; I might use the combination of cutter+dremel again

I know from your point of view the overall design of the build is still blur biggrin.gif
but I want it to have an element of surprise
so what I know is that you wont be disappointed subbing this (I HOPE LOL!)

If I were you I would turn the front radiator so the barbs are on top. Bleeding with that radiator upside down will be a serious pain. Everything else is looking amazing and It makes me want to watercool my phantom 410 more and more. thumb.gif
