660 Ti or 7950 for Crysis 3? - Page 2

7950 should out perform the 660 ti unless someone corrects me.
I was in the same situation recently, but went with the 660 TI DirectCU for $220(AR). At similar price points, I would definitely go with the 7950 as it can overclock well and is only like %5 slower than the 7970 clock for clock.

MSI Radeon HD R7950 TF 3GD5/OC will be your best option (if you can get your hands on it), mine clocks to 1100/1575 at stock voltage, plus you get Crysis 3 for free biggrin.gif

Otherwise, the Gigabyte Windforce 3X will be the next step down.

7950 for sure, 660 TI smaller bus width might kill frame rate with higher AA. Also depends on your resolution you will be playing on, but 7950 should perform better.

I have never had a bad Sapphire card personally, so I'll recommend this one http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=193_1311&products_id=20405

If you can fit a 3 slot card, then consider the higher clocked Asus, although I have never used it myself.

Gigabyte HD 7950 (900 mhz) has a very good windforce3x cooler. there are newer revisions of the card with FZ1 BIOS and 1 Ghz boost clocks . these cards come with locked voltage. stock voltage is around 1.25v. so you should be able to hit 1.1 ghz at stock voltage. keep that in mind while deciding. 3 year warranty. priced at AUD 329. 28.5 cm long
