Yeah, it seems like amd is really serious about fixing their 7900 series...they are not putting out their 8000 series this year so I believe that they are going to concentrate on fine tuning their drivers on their 7900 series at the same time squeeze out more fps smile.gif What else they going to work on this year?, beside if everything went well on the drivers this year it will benefit their 8000 series as well. thumb.gif

Just asking cuz I don't have the game.

It is more than playable with 7850 2GB so why not with 7950 3GB, atleast with AMD FX-8350, not sure about Intel biggrin.gif. Everything maxxed out, even AA and it is rock solid and steady gaming experience. But be sure to have the latest Drivers, also with Crysis 3.

A good overclocked 680 isn't going to be that low on the totem pole..

Same goes for any other AMD GPU as they overclock a lot better and gain a lot more from the overclocking than NVidia cards do so your point is pretty invalid lol

Oh my gosh, just STOP with the friggin 680 vs 7970 fan wars. It's soooooo friggin old and tired. The benches are out there, thousands of them, for everyone to see. Everybody around here has seen them at this point.

Seriously, can we give it a rest, people?

I personally prefer the software infrastructure provided by the Forceware over the Catalyst, but there's really no serious question that the 7950, when OC'd, is a considerably more power card than the 660ti, so ... pick based on your priorities thumb.gif

Wrong. With my 660ti i can run Far Cry 3 maxed out without AA at 80-90fps with vsync off.

im not sure how i can be wrong, since i stated that it was what i myself experienced.
I should have added though i game at 1440p and some games dont take the up in resolution so gently, Crysis 3 is quite kind about it though.
