Best monitor for MMO gaming.

Thread Starter
I have been reading these forums for years now but this is the first time I fined myself 100% lost on what to do. I play pretty much 100% MMOs not much shooter stuff at all. Now I have been looking at going with say two Asus VG248QE 144hz 1ms but I am not sure that's the right place for me. I play now on a ASUS VW266H Black 25.5" 2ms but really want a upgrade and go 24 inch so I can fit two on my desk. I am going to pick up a 7970 to run whatever I buy but really wanted some input on what I should do.

I really don't want to go the korea monitor route as I don't have money to spend on shipping it back or dealing with the over seas stuff if something goes bad. I am just looking for something around 300$ or so for each screen as these and a 7970 will be pushing a grand alone and this is taxes money don't normally have this laying around so this would be the reason to not take a chance on over seas stuff. So what you guys think is the best bet for someone playing MMOs??

For mmo 1440p is the better choice. My u2711 is awesome with wow.You dont really need 120 hz if you dont play fps

I would buy 2 Korean 1440p Monitors if i were you, even though you mentioned you didn't want to go that route but few retailers stock them in USA now but are a bit over the $300 price mark.

In MMO you dont need super fast super sharp screen. I would get something that is not tn based to get better colors of chars and views and all that MMO can bring up to us wink.gif Something like one of those VA based Benq led lcd screens.
