Gentle Typhoon Label

Thread Starter
Not sure if this is the right place for this but i figured that since most people use GT fans on rads then i would ask here.

Question is my AP-45's came with 26awg wire, im getting some 22awg to make some extensions like cpschris did in BBBB, if i remove the sticker with a heat gun to swap out the 26awg for some 22awg by resoldering, will i be able to just put the sticker back on or will i have to find a replacement. thanks.

If the glue doesn't stick you could try using a glue stick or spread some super glue over where the label would go. I've also been seeing people getting custom labels made. You can design and order custom 1.5" round stickers HERE

Is resale value important to you?
If so, switching labels will lessen the resale value as the buyer doesn't know what he is really getting.

I did however peel back half of my AP-45's label to look under and I put it back on after a few seconds without problems.h

Looking for the 4th solder point like on an AP-29?

If so, the GT2150 fans do not have such a 4th wire for PWM.

Edit: sorry, I confused the AP-29 and AP-45, the later being what I own.

The 29s do have the fourth solder point.

I would think taking a hair dryer to warm up the sticker first should make any of them soft enough to peel back and stick back on without much trouble.
