Crucial m4 128gb or samsung 840?

Thread Starter
The crucial m4 problems I've heard of bugs even after the firmware update.

Samsung 840 I heard it is less efficient and takes less than a crucial m4.

The ssd I need for the operating system and other essentials, and I use it only to play, so I would like to know the differences in performance in the game.

I hope to receive answers to soon for me to decide whether to return to China on samsung 840 (I thought a 830, for 1 month).

The real-world performance differences between these two are not going to be noticeable.
They're both (overall) very reliable, go with whichever you can get a better deal on and don't worry too much about it.

I would go with the Samsung, just because I like that their stuff is all in-house produced, rep for reliability etc. But yeah, as stated..real world use is gonna be the same between them. The price is fairly close between the two now as well, at least last I checked.

Samsung 840.

An alternative suggestion would be if you can find an Intel 330 (which usually should be cheaper than both the 840 and m4), then go for the Intel 330.

crucial m4 hands down. Proven flash (mlc vs tlc) and proven controller (mdx is quite new so no one know what will happen with it in the future)
If they are priced similar to you, then grab m4.

remember new is not always better.
