I have an h100+4 120mm aerocool sharks and 2x 140mm for intake and exhaust. I want to upgrade. Fan suggestions on fans that move similar or more air but are more silent?

4x Noctua F12 + 2x Noctua A14 would be a nice choice. The fact that these 12mm fans are PWM is a nice bonus too imo.

Other than that the Scythe Gentle Typhoons are the obvious choice for the rad. they are non PWM though.

Gelid silent 12's are good fans, easy to clean as the impeller pops off and white which is a colour that is easy on the eyes, I have see people saying good things about the Gelid wings. The Thermalright TY-140 or TY-147 is a good fan, very quiet.

Noctua and Cougar (Cougar had some fan noise problems) are over priced so I would avoid them.

You could always do the 5v molex trick and run the fans at a low speed as they are quiet at that speed. Gentle Typhoons (AP-15) at 5v are very quiet, I have my 3820 overclocked to 4.75GHz 1.42v on a Phanteks (in push-pull AP-15 at 5v) and it is just hitting 70°C.

Noctua products are butt ugly which deters me from the brand, that said what's wrong with your aerocools? I have them and love them.

For 1500 rpm fans they are exceptionally loud.
