There are some heatpipes rated for 310w in that site!!! O.O
You should get those for your oced rig...and figure out a way to mount them to a heatsink, or turn the case into a big heatsink for everything.
Lol biggrin.gif

Woah! I kinda want to put a giant heatsink in the front, since I measured and I can put 2x200mm in the front. I dry fitted this thing in my room, and it's HUGE! xD

It would work like sort of passive water cooling without a pump, come to think of it...
Put a giant radiator thing in there and connect the heatpipes to it, then put some fans over it, like a MEGA SUPER Platinum Arrow from hell xD Silent Beast edition thumb.gif
That could easily cool your cpu and gpu with tripe 120mm fans and 4 of those 310w heatpipes.

I found some inspiration! http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?251097-Homemade-GTX480-block-and-watercooled-PC-case
I might just go with a front mounted PSU...

Eh, I never use discs, but I might if there's extra money somewhere. I was thinking of using tightly bent copper tubes, but the heat wouldn't really disapate well without fins :I

Looks like it's just you and me in this log now xD Probably because there's not really been any real updates. Oh well biggrin.gif

Yeah, you gotta rob a bank and grab some heatpipes and random heatsinks from a hardware store.
I think getting a couple of hr-02 coolers would work nicely, but you'd need a few slow fans here and there...

Your plans look great. I am watching this closely because one day (hopefully this year) I am going to build a scratch wooden case. You have helped me come up with a few ideas already, can't wait to see more.thumb.gif

Thanks, I'll definitely check that out. Hopefully I'll still work on this thing. There's a bit of a war in my head between ditching this thing and making it a side project and building a mini itx rig, which I've always wanted, and would be best both for my wallet and my constant traveling. But I also want to make this thing utra-silent and the rig I've always wanted, but it wouldn't be finished in eons. I don't know mad.gif
