-FX 6300, fx 8320
-Crucial Ballistix Elite ram (2x4gb 1866mhz cl9 1.5v or 1600mhz cl8)
-single 7790, 7850, gtx 660 2gb (AMD cards can run some popular mining game for coin gathering hint...)

You need decent vrm for overclocking on that platform, and AMD chips can be hindered by a lesser mobo (unlike Intel chips which oc the same on most z77 boards these days)

I like the EVO, it's pretty much the same as the other one, and it's cheaper (bonus)
If I were to go with an FX chip it would probably be a 4100. Since I'm on a bit of a budget, I was thinking of going with the Phenom. Any nays against the Phenom?
I'll look into that RAM fo sho.
7790 looks tempting, 7850 would be ideal, 660 is WAY out of my budget range ($200)

Thanks for the heads up on AMD motherboards thumb.gif

Well, the acrylic is FUBAR, it shattered all the way down the middle. mad.gif It was only ten bucks, but still. At least I have some extra to do something with.

I heard plolycarbonate doesn't shatter easily, but I'm checking prices right now. At least I have enough scrap to make a new window for my Chieftec Dragon biggrin.gif

Here, have some motherboard tray pr0n:

Put some random expansion cards in to hold the I/O shield. Playing with lighting and settings on my phone, I think the first one looks the best.

The Phenom will do fine, FX 6300 would do better.
FX 4100 would be a downgrade.

Oh, ok. I'll consider the 6300, if it's in the budget. Thank you!

I was originally going to save my schillings for a single 7950, but my psu wouldn't handle it. I have decided to change my plans(partly because I'm impatient), and go for a single 7850, adding another one in the next month or 2 with a powersupply in the middle. CFX 7850's aren't a joke, and destroy the 7950 for a touch more money. Just food for thought if you ever decide on gpus.

Yeah, and dual 7790 would be nice too...I like that cheep gpu.
The best bang/buck is the 7870 Myst/XT/LE which is a cut down 7950. Oc that card, and off you go!
