I play too...what is this thread now? tongue.gif

Sing and play actually, got an Ibanez RG470 with Duncan JB in the bridge (sold it atm, waiting to get a Rio Grande to replace it, can't afford it atm) and an SX Les Paul Goldtop with a Rio Grande BBQ Bucker in the bridge (favorite pickup brand by far...OP get that for your Les Paul biggrin.gif)

I guess it's become more of a random discussion because I'm too damn poor to get stuff and update this thread with actual progress xD

Nice! I've heard good reviews on the Rio Grande when I was actually looking around for guitar stuff. I'll look into it more seriously once I get this case done biggrin.gif

The BBQ Bucker is like the perfect Les Paul sound for me...my SX has semi decent wood and with that pickup it sounds amazing biggrin.gif
I wanna get the Tallboy humbucker next, it splits into two real single coils if needed...but for my RG470. I also have to replace the bridge with a proper Schaller Floyd Rose unit cause the stock one SUCKS.
Hopefully my new investment pays off and I may be able to get some goodies.

The bar is kind of wobbly, I can't control pitch correctly with it. Sucks cause it ruins my Guthrie Govan/Mattias Eklundh fun moments... frown.gif
The base broke and it moves but the bridge stays still till you press the bar a bit more.

I miss having a tremolo, had an "Ibanez" (legit neck, home made body I later found out :I) I still have the neck around here somewhere lol.

Warmoth sells nice bodies and stuff to build your own guitar, as well as Rio Grande pickups...jus sayin.

Ya I've been to their site before, nice stuff, not so nice prices. I'm more into computers now anyway, mainly because it has more of a stable career base, and I enjoy it just as much.

Yeah, me too...I sing more than I play nowadays, mainly cause I'm quite good at it, and I take my instrument with me and costs me NOTHING. lol
I sing in the style of the great late Ronnie James Dio, Jeff Scott Soto in Talisman, Chris Cornell in Soundgarden...that kinda thing.

I kinda sing, I only do it when I'm happy lol. I realize I sound like Kurt Cobain, odd enough. I don't really try, have no reason to lol
