For $100 there are several much better options than what Logitech has to offer. You were unfortunately a victim of good marketing.

Uhm. I've had this headset for over a year already. I was one of the first ones to order it when Amazon released it. No battery problems at all. Never had RMA problems with Logitech on my other purchases. Please show me what other wireless 7.1 headset is better for under $100? I doubt there is any.

I have the Steelseries 7H and I think they are pretty good. Can occasionally find them on sale.

What we are trying to tell you is that your wireless/7.1 Logitech headset does not sound nearly as good as real headphones for $100. You're sacrificing sound quality for a wireless connection.

You guys can do what you want with your money but you obviously didn't research your purchase so you shouldn't be recommending anything to someone who is. Especially to someone with a much higher budget who can afford much better sounding headphones.

It makes absolutely no sense to me but to each his own.

Well I can highly recommend the Logitech G35's (or the wireless version). Great sound quality, great mic quality and a solid headset with easy to use software.
Although without a budget, not a doubt in my mind, Sennheiser PC350's. No better audio quality then Sennheiser.

So I rest my case then. You can't link me a wireless 7.1 headset for under $100 that's better. Thus for those looking for a wireless 7.1 headset the G930 is the best one out there for under $100.

I'm personally tired of wires and hate dealing with them all over my desk and around my chair which is why I got the wireless headset. I've also used it about 8 hours a day everyday for the year I've had it with no problems at all. Battery consistently lasts me 8-12 hours.

I don't notice any kind of sound quality problems with the headset when I play 1080p movies or games. I still hear footsteps just fine in FPS games coming from different directions and 1080p action movies sound amazing. I don't listen to much music on them though so I can't comment on that.

Ahaa, good choice my friend thumb.gif
As for the Amp, FiiO E9 has been highly praised by many many people on forums & websites across the world.
It's not that expensive and REALLY worth the money.

Also, if these random suggestions have confused you basically the rule for computer audio is:
Does it have a mic attatched? If so, avoid like the plague...
