ok i'm having trouble running things like my soundblaster card because it says the drivers are unsigned... i saw a person here tell someone how to make it so you could use unsigned drivers all the time without hitting f8 and everything. could some one tell me how, and maybe post a FAQ about it if their isn't one allready?

Yes Some of the things that makes vista secure are that it asks for sighned drivers. All that means is that the manufactur has to spend a small amount of money to get it approved. Also what's interesting is that all the firewall manufacturs will have to re write there entire code. It's because 64 bit vista will not allow Kernal patching aka "low level kernal hooking" that means that firewalls will have to find out another way to do this. If i had an Athlon or a Core 2 i would definatly run 64bit. The reason is that all programs will work as long as they don't use the kernal in any way. All Vlc's WMP Nero you should know that 64 bit plays well with 32bit so it's all kosher. The second you want to use any drivers it will start *****ing. Although i beleive that ATI and Nvidea have 64bit drivers but not shure.

EDIT: oh yeah i forgot to adress the creative question. Creative said it will have drivers when vista SHIPS to consumers not during RTM. I forgot what it's called but the period from RTM to actual realese that is the period all the devlopers have the time to finalize the drivers because they have the actual copy of vista in there hands.

on the creative website when you choose your OS vista 64 bit is in the list and vista 64 is in the name of the EXE that you DL. which makes me wonder why they would call it vista 64 bit drivers if you can't use them...
