I have been looking at speakers and just wondering what you all think is the best 2.1 speaker out there? Let me know what you all think.
I really like the Klipsch pro media 2.1
and

Can anyone tell the the difference between these two?
This one it has THX certified and the other link does not...WTH is the difference?

and
This one DOES NOT have THX certified

The klipsch promedia is an excellent buy, and those links are the same speakers. There are other options but it depends on the sound you want. Do you like bass or could you live without it? If you like bass stick with klipsch. If not you have other options,

M-Audio AV40

Audio engine A2

Swans M10

Not that these have no bass, it's just that the klipsch's produce more.

Second the klipsch Pro Media's, I bought them during BlackFriday for $100 and it's one of the best investments I've made in a long time. The sound is crisp and the bass is just right, you can find them around $100-$150 online but I'm betting even cheaper used.

I wouldn't suggest picking up a pair of those used. Tends to be a lot of abuse to these specific speakers, and there also is a common problem with the cord breaking.
