Available Amps on the MSI 7950 TF3 3GD/OC fan header - advice please

I'm about to put my 7950 under water but would like to run two PWM fans off the fan header ( fan total of 12V @ 0.5A) and I have a Female VGA-> Male PWM and a PWM Y splitter from 1-2. I'm hoping to run these following 2 fans in PWM off of it. (sidenote: I think I have the 7970 PCB as I have a 8pin+6pin power connector)

ARCTIC COOLING AF9 PWM 92mm Case cooler (12V @ 0.15A)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835186034

COUGAR CF-V12HP Vortex Hydro-Dynamic-Bearing (Fluid) 300,000 Hours 12CM Silent Cooling Fan with Pulse Width Modulation (12V @ 0.35A)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835553001

I'm not sure where to go to look up what the onboard VGA fan pinout is rated at, but since it runs 2 fans already it should be able to handle these 2 fans, I hope?

Any suggestions/specs/advice is appreciated!

Why would you want to risk frying the header to find out?

my card runs an arctic cooler that has 3 92mm fans fine... may be worth to check out the power needed to run the arctic cooler fans.

Case fans have a lot more draw so it can be sketchy.

I would feel safer getting a pwm adapter then running the fans off the psu.

Use the adapter to extract the pwm signal wire then you can power the fans anyway you want.

I'd prefer not risking it and asking first. Just wondering if its possible since the TF3 has 2 fans already running on there if it's capable of putting enough power out for low rpm case fans, instead of high RPM 80mm fans

hmm good tip. So this runs off your VGA fan header? maybe I can look up the amp rating of these individual fans.

that's a great idea. I actually am getting that cable already but was just thinking driving both fans off the VGA header but maybe I can just pull the PWM signal from the card and splice in the PSU power into the red/blacks and completely bypass the limitations of the card's VGA header amp rating

thanks everyone
