I have the Rosewill FORTRESS-450 which I got for $44.99 after rebate.

My little 450W ran a 2500K overclocked to 5.0 in Prime95 Blend and a 6950 in MSI Kombustor (Furmark) at the same time no problem.

Don't be turned off because it isn't a Corsair or Seasonic, it's a solid PSU.

Rosewill makes some solid PSU's, will be my next PSU for sure.

And their build quality on their cases are great too, way better than the antec 1200, haf 932, or lian-li k62 ive owned before this Thor.

Yup, they have several units on the OCN Recommended Power Supply List these days (including this one). The Rosewill Hive, Capstone, Fortress, Tachyon and SilentNight series are all excellent PSU lines and offer some of the best price/performance ratios available.

All the other 750W Platinum PSUs on Newegg are $140-$210 right now. This is actually cheaper than most 750W Golds. biggrin.gif

Yes! The reason Rosewill is cheaper on Newegg is because they're partners.

They make solid stuff. I'm a Corsair guy myself but that's merely preference. smile.gif

The only thing I would mention is it's not a Modular! So if you don't like messy wires you should probably seek out other options/deals.

Though usually most good cases can cover them up.

Great unit at a great price, too bad I have to pass since I already have a Seasonic X-650 Gold and don't want to rewire everything + downgrade from a full modular.

I have this PSU. Got it for $100 around Black Friday with free shipping. It's an amazing PSU, no problem running my i7 and 7950. I think it could even handle a second one.

Even though Rosewill doesn't make their own PSUs, they chose a good OEM to rebrand - Superflower. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Enermax PSUs are rebranded Superflowers as well.
