Ok well I'm at 4.8Ghz at 1.48vcore. It passed an hour of P95 Small FFTs. I don't really give a shiii-crap if it's "not stable" enough. P95 is insanely stressful unlike any application, if it can pass at least an hour of that, then it should be fine in my book. Anyways for my CPU power management in my P9X79 WS's bios, these settings are available:
Long Duration Power Limit - Max amount of watts aloud, available to set up to 32767 or some crazy high number very close to this. Basically it's maxed out.
Long Duration Maintained - A time from 1-32 seconds for a certain amount of wattage to be allowed. Well at least I think so...
Short Duration Power Limit - A multiplier of 1.25 (default) of the available max wattage for a limit. ;Its like a second limit or something.
Additional Turbo Voltage - Extra vcore option???
CPU Core current limit - This the amount of max amperage aloud.
Anyways I put long duration power limit to 500w. When I did this my max clock speeds when using P95 were only 3.2 ghz! When I changed it to the max, 32767 it would allow for it to boost up all the way to the desired frequency. For the amperage I put it to 300A. Anyways when I did this max allowance of 32767 watts which is pretty much unlimited I still had the same issues of my computer turning off instantly after a few seconds of P95.
