Memory confusion

Hi,

I have a motherboard (old one) which supports memory as follows

Memory Frequency (DDR3) 1066 MHz, 1333(O.C) MHz, 800 MHz

But the memory which I want to purchase has this specification (Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8 GB):

Memory Type 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) 1600 MHz DDR3 DIMM
Memory Standard DDR3 1600/PC3-12800

Can I use this RAM in my mother board? Or do I have to purchase the one which matches the motherboard spec?
I was thinking if I purchase this RAM I would use it in my future upgrade also...

What are your suggestions??

it will run fine. It'll run at 1333.
EDIT: no it's a single 8gb stick. will run at 667 if it runs at all. Whats your mobo? it probably won't support 8gb sticks if it maxes out at 1333mhz.
I would go for a 2x4gb kit at most. You may be stuck with 2gb modules...depends on the motherboard
To achieve Double Data Rate speeds, you need 2 sticks. ie: each stick will run at 667mhz x2 = 1333mhz
1600mhz or higher KIT(x2) will work, it will just run at motherboard's max speed (1333mhz in your case) Whats the motherboard?

Mother board is: ASRock G41C-GS
http://www.asrock.com/mb/intel/g41c-gs/

It has support for both DDR2 and DDR3. I guess it wont take single 8GB stick.
I have to go for 2x4GB stick...
If so it will run at 1333MHz speed right??
