I'm in the process of making new cables for my PSU at the moment. Here is how mine looks right now:Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
I broke a couple pins while trying to depin the original cables, so I had get some new ones. Great PSU between.
Yeah, I hate those double cables into each pin. What I'm planning on doing with them is that I will detach the wire and reattach it in the middle. So instead of a "V" shape, its more like a "Y" shape.
Also, how are the pins at the ends of the wires oriented (the black plastic pieces that go into the PSU/MoBo). Are the tabs at both ends facing one direction?

This is my first time doing a build ever and the very first thing I bought was this PSU. I was very glad to know that this is one of the best PSUs out there. And regarding the wiring, I think they should be the same as well, but just contact SeaSonic and double check. Also, the newer X series has all the cabling in black and without the color sleeving. I bought the cables in the above pictures from eBay and decided to work on that since I figured it'd be easier and in case if I mess up, I'll have a spare cable.
