9500gt

Hi, I'm overclocking my en9500gt, 1G, using msi afterburner.
This is what I have now. When I put 660Mhz on the gpu clock, I don't see any artifacts, and the temperature is around 53ºC, but it gives an error "nvidia kernel driver stoped responded and recovered", black screen and the msi kombuster is closed.
This is normal? I thought I could go further, because I saw no artifacts and the temperature was only 53 º.. And I saw on the internet a lot of people got more than 700Mhz on the cpu clock of this card.
sorry for my bad english smile.gif

We'll need more info about your system to get a good idea on what's going on.

Have you tried just using Furmark for stress testing? Its a free download if I remember.
Its similar to what msi kombuster does, looks like kombuster is based from furmark.

Im using windows 8 pro 64 bit
mobo: p5kpl-am
pro.: e6300 2.80 mhz
ram: 2x2GB Kingston 800 DDR2

I tried fun mark and it happends the same thing..
and if I increase the engine clock to 655mhz, I have an error after playing for 1 hour saying "Nvidia kernel mode has stopped working and has been recovered"
now Im using 648, 1649, 490 and it works perfect, but I just saw on the intertet that a lot of poeople got more than 700Mhz on the cpu clock of this card, so I was wondering why I just can get to 648Mhz..
