go in to the bios and disable every second core so 2,4,6,8 and see if that helps things.

Have you actually removed the drivers though? Some people simply download the newest drivers and I have found this is cause issues sometimes. I'm assuming you've removed and re-downloaded GW2.

You're not alone. I get the *exact* same performance on my oc'd 2500k, 40fps average, 46 or so OC'd. I also run into massive slow downs which drop frames to about the mid 20's which lasts for 20/30 seconds or so then frames go back up to mid 40's. Oddly I've yet to see a slow down in big battles, only wide open thinly populated area's. All on a very fast SSD to boot.

My GPU usage is at 50% as well, yet this game heats up my 7970 like no other title I've ever played on it confused.gif

I remember there being a bug that caused the fps to drop massively but as I understood it that was strictly a crossfire issue. I'm guessing you are running the game fully maxed. Do you still have the same behavior with render sampling is set to native?

80 to 100fps without supersample but Ive not played enough to say if the random slow downs are still there or not. The game is not very fast paced so it runs silky smooth at 47 to 60 fps.
