[Gizmodo] The PlayStation 4 Will Cost Over $400 - Page 41

400 would be ok, but I bet the games are gonna be $60+. Blah, Can the PS4 play PS3 games?

$400. Damn that cheap! I remember the best version of the ps3 was like $699 at launch!

PC vs Console. yes there both gaming related but they almost can even be compared. Friends on a couch or alone vs sitting in a chair at a desk. They are both awesome.

Actually, they can can't they? I mean a PC can play 360 disks, Might not be legal but they can do it. To be honest I think it's as legal as using a No CD crack for a game you own or having afew MP3s of a CD you own.

Windows 8 has Xbox Live integrated with it, but is unable to play the discs.

The Xbox 360 has a different CPU architecture than a PC.
That means that 360 discs would require an emulator program (simulate the original CPU in the 360 console).
An emulator requires much more power than the actual original CPU to run.
The CPU that's in the Xbox 360 is way, far away from being able to be emulated.

In-fact, only a few select games have been emulated for the original Xbox on PC.
They also come with glitches, no support, no online play (Xbox Live), and require setup for all the settings.

To console haters:
Plain and simple, we buy consoles to play console games (among other numerous unique reasons).
Your PC cannot play the latest console games (barely any old ones, I might add).
So there is no argument to be had until it can.

I have owned both PCs and Consoles.
I like them both.
