Rampage IV Extreme - question after mounting EK RIVE kit.

Hello,

I ve jsut recently assembled RIVE cooling block in addition to my XSPC D5 RX360. I have 2 questions. First when i boted the pc and ran occt to test it the pc speaker started to make rapid short beeps and debug led showed 02 which means S2 sleep state according to the manual. After when i boot the pc this problem didnt manifest itself still. Anyone has idea what could that be ? I have a thermal diode under mosfet heatsing and beetween 2 mosfests and it doesnt exceed 50 C. My 2nd question is - After mounting everything i ve booted the pc and checked temps etc. The case was opened if there were any problems but the temsp seemed fine - the problem is that my friend thought he will touch the backplate of the mosfets from the back of the case and as he is a computer noob he touched some transistors "under" the CPU socket when the pc was up and running. It seems that nothing bad happened as the pc boots up and works and i was testing temps after that and used occt linpack and it didnt crash after 10 min ( i know its not long but still). Is there any way for the mobo to be broken because of my friend touching the back of the mobo throught the back of the case ? Is there any way i can chec if everything is allright?

Other than a temp alarm, no idea.

He touched the surface mount capacitors/resistors behind the socket?

Highly unlikely that anything was damaged. If the system continued to run, nothing is likely to be wrong, at all.
