Thanks, but i need THE SAME speakers in the surround. So all bookshelf or floorstanding. All bookshelf in my case.

That's just plain stupid. What do you think is the point of that?

bumblebee1980 Yamaha is one of the best manufactures, with maybe some specific sound, but other stuff inside is great.

Yamaha is not one of the best. Yamaha is cheap and uses proprietary technology. that's why people buy them. there are 3 or 4 other brands I would consider before Yamaha with that budget.

dipole speakers are recommended because the power, money and logistics setting up a massive monopole/bipole array like you would find in a movie theater or concert hall is really hard in a home. dipole speakers fire in multiple directions out of phase to create a convincing ambient surround sound field. I highly recommend them.

Goldenear Aon 3 bookshelves -- 3 Pairs: $3k

SVS SB-13 Ultra Subwoofer: $1,600

Pioneer Elite SC 67 AVR: $1,300

Spend the rest of your budget on decent acoustical treatment for your room.

Your soundstage will be so deep and wide with those bookshelves that it would be breathtaking. Add or subtract a bookshelf for 5.1 or 7.1 as you see fit.

He seems to have it all figured out no need for help here! As i said, i just wanted an opinion on the system and maybe some new optios. Looks like no options available in speaker pairs exept Heco or Dyanudio.

Only down side is I have to wait for my missus to out so I can crank it with dayz and bf3. Lol the dog is going to o flip out when heres them zombies coming.lol he already cracks it when someone knocks on the door in a movie with the surround going. :-) I still might just get a 2 speaker setup instead. Best of luck 7k will get u something nice!

Surround gaming, music and movies. The same sets will give you the same good sound from all sides. I have a place for them and i used 7.1 simple set for 6-7 years ALREADY. I know what i'm doing thumb.gif

Umm...amm...ok, i'll read about that and check that systems. Thanks!

This is AWESOME idea, but Ultra will kill my apartment))) I don't have a house))) Bass from SB-13 Ultra is more than a 100 dba, it might shake ever item inside room. So that's because i want two less powerful but awesome also subwoofers like Velodyne Eq-Max 12

Pioneer...ow, no, pease just not Pioneer) Some Pioneer AVR's are nice, some of them are bad. When i'm buying Yamaha, i'm sure in the end result. If buy something like Onkyo or Marantz....Onkyo cool, Marantz probably more for warm and classic music. Some Denon's are bad. Again, Yamaha RX-A just great and it will work.

Like a Windows vs Mac - i already have a Windows biggrin.gif

I"VE SEEN MUTEKI!))) Really cool system for a less then a 1000 bucks. Problem is that IT"S NOT AVAILABLE in Russia and barely available in USA. (7.2 kits) Other Muteki's are in stock, if i'm not wrong. Also...have you seen Muteki with 4 subwoofer (9.4 custom kits)? Some people did it)))) Check on youtube

BIG NEWS: i read about DIY custom acoustic systems and already talked with one VERY skilled manufacture.

So....he can assemble for me (sure, with order, contract and his personal documents, all schemes and personal name for speaker sets) speaker pairs that sounds like 6-7k at least. So....spended almost 5k$ will sounds closely to 25000$ kit (7.0 kit, other, now already 3k, not 2, for subs and Yamaha AVR). For real - many people agree with it, including Heco, Dynaudio, Klipsh, Sonus Faber and other owners i asked.

How it's possible? Look at the speakers and amplifiers with REALLY high cost: speakers have same HF dynamics (or...speakers, not sure about the right word) with just 100$ price...when system, just a stereo pair costs 40000$

Amplifiers sometimes have components on ~400$, cost in USA in box about ~1300$, then cost in Russia about ~2500.... amazing greed biggrin.gif Also some things like golden capacitors doesn't make any sense to put inside with classic cheap LF\MF\HF dynamics. Even at comparison they are not sounds any better, just another style - mor ringing or more natural. Who was opponents? Capacitors with cost ~100-300$ versus golden 2000-3000$

So...the final result will be BETTER THEN ANYTHING i could dream! Exact dynamics set for my genders and "movies booms" without any serious directions to bass or high frequency.

P.S: for people who just want to buy set in the store.... Look at the "Klipsh RF-82 II" or "Paradigm Monitor 11 .v7". First need some treble ajustments (too ringing, too sharp and too bright sound) and accurate placement, second system is just "like it should be" when you will find exact place for them in apartment. They are the best "at the paper and by videos" that i found. If you have enough money, look at the Heco Celan GT models.
