I think they are pretty good IMO unless it is expensive in the UK then scratch that.

They aren't as good as the ATI GPU's in a large number of games, when you break it down and look at bang for buck the 7950 is unbeatable. Not only that when it's overclocked it's on par if not better than the 680 in some games for a fraction of the cost.

The nvidia cards are very good at folding and pull forward with 3 or more GPU's, but for the average hardcore gamer, the 7950 is the weapon of choice. Obviously Physx and CUDA are still nvidia' baby

i agree amd card look and sound way better

the way i see it if your gonna do 3d on one monitor then nvidia

since im going for triple monitors that extra 1gb will help a lot with the amd cards

To my point...was just in Micro Center here in the USA and they had ASUS P8Z77 motherboards for $109 (after rebate).

the asus board im getting at the moment is £130



is there any parts i buy anytime you know the ones that wont go out of date too fast like the graphics card



obviously u can buy a case straight away but id like to know if there are any other parts i can buy straight away
