That makes no sense. I am kind of sad because I am waiting for the next generation before upgrading but I do understand why they are doing it. They feel they are competitive with Nvidia right now and Nvidia is not releasing product right now so they are going to milk all the profits they can out of their current cards that have already recouped their initial investment on.
But go ahead, give Nvidia your money. Say $899 for their Titan card?

Let me tell you why that is not true.
1. New consoles, with PC like architecture, means by 2014 we will be seeing some much more demanding games.
2. Some of us game at very high resolutions, for example I game at 2560x1440 and some people use Eyefinity or Surround at even higher resolutions.Edited by Mygaffer - 2/7/13 at 11:39am
