What will need upgrading first?? - Page 3

If you still have to wait for the others its kind of pointless but nothing is pointless on OCN biggrin.gif I can't talk, i have 16GB of DDR3 2400mhz, that's kinda pointless too! haha

I have never known a game to benefit from a SSD other than loading times but my 64GB SSD wont hold much so i haven't had much experience with SSD and gaming. I would love to see if it had an effect on X PLANE 10 but that requires 80GB just to install scenery files!!

I'm guessing his motherboard will only support SATA II 3gb/s so it will be slower than intended until the board is replaced too

Should've went for a WD10EZEX for the HDD.

The build looks weirdly unbalanced with that 750W PSU and that Corsair Platinium overpricyness...

That Ultra X4 is okay. Not a particularily good unit at all but should be okay. It's manufactured by Andyson.

I guess it's still nice for as low as $400. smile.gif

I would go with upgrading GPU first, XFX isn't the best brand but $150 is a nice price for sure.

I started out with a AMD 1090T, GTX 275 and 500GB HDD...i used to think it was the dogs bits until i joined up here and couldnt stop myself...now look at what i have spent! haha Don't regret a single thing though!

GAAAAAHHHHH! So freakin true. The bug bites and doesn't let go. I would be a lot richer if I hadn't found OCN on a google search one day. But then again I would probably be suffering with a cruddy system right now. rolleyes.gif Loves me some performance.

I used to own a PowerColor 6950 and the build quality wasn't bad. Might be worth consideration if it comes out a bit cheaper.

Too right, i think OCN has cost me around £1600 - £2000 haha

overclock the cpu (buy cooler if needed) and upgrade gpu. Sell the gpu and get that money to help purchase a better one.

What resolution are you playing at?

Only one way to find it buddy! there is no shame in trying..........let us know how it games!

No. You'll need an Intel Socket 1155 motherboard.
