I pretty crazy for me because I only play BF3. But I play it about 3 hours a day. And almost every day I got the problem. I had the GTX 580 before my upgrade to Geforce Titan, and I never had a problem with the old card.
Asus has a gaming division called ROG, republic of gamers. I had one of their t-shirts! Anyway, they do have a forum available for assistance. I wouldn't ever count on a hardware company to support a game however. EVGA told me my 560 Ti was not the issue, BF3 beta was. I knew they were full of it cause I had issues in other games too. They sent me out 2 more defective units and finally gave me a refund. Google or search on here for Jodiuh and EVGA if you want the full story. I was a lab tech for Dell's XPS division from 07 to 08, so I know a thing or two about gaming hardware. Their lead tech was rude, wrong, and basically a big deusch. TL:DR, don't buy EVGA crap. Asus, Gigabyte, MSI are my top three.
I replaced both my 660's and am no longer getting the error. I would swap that Titan out ASAP. 1K is too much to deal w/ that. Heck, you outta have an Asus technician come out to your home for that price! Good luck buddy.
