No updates yet - still waiting for the Micro-ATX mod from thelaserhive after they had a fire. It should be good though - apparently I am going to be the guinea pig for a new design. I hope to have it at the end of this week or beginning of next.

I am however going to order the sleeving from MDPC-X tonight, as well as new rivets, bolts and random stuff. So definately looking forward to that bit as well!

Fiiinally I managed to get an order through with Nils at MDPC-X!

So I have a looot of stuff incoming..

To match the ROG theme I ended up ordering:

Shade 19 (black-ish) sleeving
White sleeving
Color-X sleeving

Then also some white and black heatshrink as well as black and white rivets + some M3 Brainwashers

Looking forward to getting it! biggrin.gif

Subbed!!! Are you going to paint the case? I think a nice black with a dark red would look sick!

Jeffinslaw

I think I am going for a flat/matte black on the sides - and then a dark red on the front, top, back, handels and logo on the sides (lighted from behind).

I've been checking out your build log as well and was one of my inspirations rolleyes.gif

I would tongue.gif Buuut.. I am probably gonna cut the caples of the PSU to custom length, so have to wait until final placement of parts.

An update from the laser hive is that the parts should be sent early next week - so finally play time! biggrin.gif

I've come up with another idea..

Instead of filling out the gaps around the reservoir, I thought of cutting out the entire rectangle on the front and replace it with an acrylic piece. That would also open up for some more options for the colorscheme and/or lighting as well as remove the unnecessary holes for power/reset/speaker. Of course, the reservoir will also be lighted, so that might be enough.

Your idea would look great! And it's great to hear my build log was of inspiration too! thumb.gif
