could you tell me how you did the power button mod (what switch did you use) considering a similar thing for my own!

I just received my SLR today, so hopefully tonight, I'll do some pictures of the whole button contraption tongue.gif It is rigged together very low tech - and I need to find a powerful spring for the button to be able to press the logo back in its place - but I'll try to grab some shots and give a detailed description.

no need to worry, I have 2 to do one for my parents as a surprise for XMas to replace their crappy one and 1 badass for my self which wont be finished for probably about a year because I need monies for all the crazy parts (thinking 4930k?)

Well.. This sucks tongue.gif Took a lot of pics last night ofthe button and my failed attempt of creating the acrylic psu cover..... But as I use my phone as a modem, I ran out of data and wont have any more until tomorrow tongue.gif

But then I'll have some better pics smile.gif

My G4 just arrived! biggrin.gif shame I cant start work until after exams are over I will just have to look at it and admire it haha :/

mine came fully loaded with components and actually works quite well but the power supply smells funny

Probably, Ive had that happen before. Hot Glue is the smell to worry bout thumb.gif
