My cold cathodes will STILL not stick to the top of my case!

Thread Starter
I just got some new cold cathodes I knew that the sticky pads that they come with do not hold them up so another member says they use foam tape to hold theirs up. Bought the foam tape, and they ARE STILL FALLING! Please I have been having both my cold cathodes sitting at the bottom of my case looking tacky since I got them. Does anybody have a good way to hold these?

Better tape, epoxy or superglue. biggrin.gif I'd use epoxy tongue.gif

Staples? wink.gif

Only joking, get some adhesive Velcro strips and cut it to size, you get better contact on each pad and it's easy to remove the installation if you need to

Does epoxy come off easy. Because when I tried to take the foam tape off it left a big mess.

Whenever I install case lights I carefully clean the area with alcohol and I use a mounting base with a zip tie.

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/3811/tiw-28/12_Tie_Mount_5_Pack_161_0710.html?tl=g35c34

They adhere quite well and the zip tie allows it to be removable with little effort.

I might try that do you think they will stick to the top of my Switch 810?
