Here are my calibration, only OSD, I do not have any calibration tool/hardware.

Picture Mode= Standard
Brightness= 0
Contrast= 50
Gamma= Gamma 5
Color Temperature= User
Red= 100
Green= 96
Blue= 98
All other stuff is default.

I mainly play CS:GO, ingame I put brightness to darkest, som maps have dark shadows and I can't see opponents those maps I put ingame
brightness to brightest so I see opponents even in dark shadows.

The colors are really nice at ingame darkest, they are good at brightest aswell but I prefer darkest ingame.

Mine is almost the same has grandpatzer, the only difference is contrast. I put 35, but i think even with brightness at 0 and contrast at 35 it's too bright...
If someone could tell some calibration that wont kill my eyes i would appreciate smile.gif
Thanks

How is picture quality comparing 50 contrast to 35 contrast?

Have you tried in game decreasing brightness so it does not kill eyes?

Hi there smile.gif

Picture quality is a little bit darker but it's ok...
yes i did decrease it a little, but the only solution was to go to nvidia settings and decrease also brightness to 45, contrast 30 and gamma to 0.70. I don't know if this settings are "normal" but at least for me i can play a bit wihout getting too much sored. The problem for me is web browsing or opening a google page, the monitor becomes so bright and make my eyes sored. this monitor is too bright.... if anyone would help me out calibrating this i would apreciate it smile.gif

If monitor is too harsh when opening browser, try the Flux program. It softens the blue light glare by making everything yellow at night time.

If you are using 144Hz setting, then I had 46 contrast in the OSD, brightness whatever was comfortable. In Nvidia control panel I reduced gamma to about 0.5 or 0.6. Along with flux, that sorted out the glare for me at night time.

Hi hamzatm,

Yesterday i gave it a try at that software, and my eyes started to feel a little bit better smile.gif, (but only for an half an hour....so i can't comment yet....)
No, i'm using @ 120hz on desktop, and in game @ battlefield 3 for ex. i'm using @ 60hz... (yes i know it's a shame having a 120\144hz monitor and using it at 60hz, but for now my graphics handle better at 60 than at 80 something or higher.. i get a lot of fps drops at battlefield... also using that command game gametime.maxvariablefps at 60....and still testing to see which fps makes my gameplay stable...)

BTW do you use flux in gaming? or do you disable it and just use it for desktop usage? (or is it personal preference?)

Thanks in advance.

It depends on how your eyes feel but flux doesn't work in every game anyway. In Dota 2 for example it doesn't do anything in game, only on the Windows desktop when you tab out.

I think in cs source it doesn't work also... in battlefield i tested and it seemed to work fine...
it's not a big deal if it doesn't work at games, since i can handle it quite well. (well my eyes get a liitle sored after a bit... but that also makes me rest a bit smile.gif)
I like this monitor a lot, but brightness is indeed a pain in the butt.... especially if you're sensitive, like i am... flux seems to be a nice fix (besides making everythin "yellowish"),... i hope someone can get a good calibration\fix for this "issue"....

Thanks
