Any good MMORPG?

Well I'm getting tired of League and I've decided I want to get into MMORPG games (Sword Art Online has gotten me on the urge to play an mmorpg xD)

Anyone suggest a good one?

I like being able to work for gear/work up on wealth/to progress which is why I think playing an mmorpg would be good for me, getting tired of just playing single player games like FC3/Hitman/etc. and just be finished with it and move on.

What I have in mind:

GW2
RaiderZ
Dragon Nest
C9


For some reason I just can't get into Path of Exile, I don't know why.. I guess I don't find 2D Diablo-like games to be fun when you just basically run around in a non full on immersive 3D Game, click x10000 around the map/monsters and loot. I can definitely try the game again and maybe like it

I am seriously thinking of buying GW2 myself. But for me, endgame raiding is my favorite thing about MMORPGs which I hear GW2 lacks. I'm still hoping to get an Elder Scrolls Online beta key to see if that game is worth waiting for instead.

Diablo 3 is cool... GW2 is what I'd try. It just has overall the best gameplay. It has the most options and it fits the gameplay you described. + their always adding stuff.

I just got GW2 this last weekend and I love it so far, and considering I used to play WoW. The no subscription thing is what really got me there. I am also waiting on a ESO Beta key as well and hopefully if the game is awesome they may take a hint or two from GW2 and have you pay for the game and that's it.

I play GW2 online quite alot, everyday infact. I have a level 80 ranger with full top tier gear, but the world vs world combat is the real endgame experience at this point. And it is loads of fun. I'd at least give it a shot.

Oh yea, I signed up for ESO earlier this week also, I hope I get a key.

Still contemplating if I should get GW2 or not, maybe I should wait to see if GW2 will get on sale anytime soon.

As of right now, I've been trying to look everywhere for the perfect mmorpg game for me on mmohut and other places, there are a few foreign games that I really want to try out, ArcheAge/Blade and Soul(I think thats the name) and like one other, but they are not out on NA yet frown.gif

Is there any sort of auction house/market/economy (like WoW) on GW2?
How is the grinding in the game?
How fast is the leveling?
Do you get anything out of World vs World? Like points/tokens to get exclusive gear?

Sorry for asking so many questions, but it seems like GW2 would be the best game out of any current ones out here

You know there is a (I think) BETA of "The elder scrolls online." I hope when its finished it will be really good... Im not am MMORPG type of player but I may just play that one just because of how impressed I am with Skyrim... Maybe someone else will chime in about it, Im not 100% sure its in BETA but I thought I read that somewhere.

Try Path of Exile. smile.gif It's currently in open beta and is really fun. Its really similar to Diablo 3 except a bit darker and scary.

Eve online is an MMO isn't it? I don't know much about it but I think there's a club on OCN.

I've also heard good things about Lord of the rings online and elder scrolls online, if you can get a beta key.

If you want something sort of different, look into Ragnarok. It's a weird sort of thing, there are tons of servers and each one is different. I played rebirthRO, it seems to be the more popular one. It's free unless you want special items. If you want to do PVP or large raid bosses, you essentially need a max level character, and for that you really need some of the paid items. Unless you want to grind 100s of hours. The reason I got out of it was there wasn't much in the way of quests or adventures/story lines.
