I didnt participate either, been busy with work and anime lol

Not sure if it was mentioned, but Neverwinter is on its way. Beta weekend starting tomorrow. That's a game I'm really excited for. Control wizard FTW!

Age of Conan: Unchained offers the best Free 2 play model I've tried of any of the F2P MMO's(and ive tried A LOT of them). Its highly underrated.
Other good F2P games I've tried - Lineage 2 and Aion.

OFC I played all of the above when they were released.

Currently waiting for Camelot Unchained (working title) as I take a break from MMO's. The Elder Scrolls Online looks very very disappointing so far.

Non F2P mmos I'd suggest:

Guild Wars 2
World of Warcraft
Warhammer Online
EVE Online
RIFT
Star Wars the Old Republic (its free to play, but the model is so bad you might as well just pay for it. you basically get nothing but your character when free to play, its horrible. Thanks EA)

My favorite has always been LOTRO (Lord of the Rings Online). Look me up on the Gladden server: Azaryah is my toon.

if Camelot Unchained ends up being even 1/4 the quality that DAOC has then I will be buying and playing it regularly. Warhammer Online did a great job in my opinion but People are just too whiney these days and it started to die out. I want to play it again but Im not sure if I can just jump back into it

Do you still need to buy an expansion pack for it to go higher lvl realm rank etc?

i stopped playing when they were like , Oh we are opening up higher realm ranks and levels but you gotta buy it, i was mad because I wasnt even sitting in Sovereign gear yet so i said screw it and stopped playing after 2 years.

funny thing is I still log into my free account now and then to have some fun =)


so as an old Daoc player, I never liked WoW

felt cheap, totally ripped off the warhammer tabletop and the players on wow, just makes you crazy.

My wife played it fromt he beginning and got me to play it with her recently when the panda junk came out, we duo leveled from 1-86, i was playing a priest.
Let me tell you... this game sux so hard i cant even look at it any more.

Star Wars is my ISH! Loved that game, stopped playing after 6 or 7 months, my group was easily beating the end game content and my Sorc healer was so stacked there was like 1 rare item i needed to complete it. but time and money and a baby has taken my time away from it lol

SWTOR, i don't care what people say, is a GREAT game, runs well on older hardware and looks good, the Singe Player story lines are excellent and the "pet" system works very well. crafting and harvesting are not boring compared to other games cus you can make your Apprentice do all teh work ;p

basically if your a Star Wars nerd like most of us are just shut up and play it


and I dunno, I really didnt like LOTRO or DDO, i really wanted to like both, but just couldn't .
