Help with deciding on SSD!

Thread Starter
I looking at THIS drive to replace my 2 Samsung F3's in my sig. What I want to know is will it be faster with the same setup as my sig. I'm on a budget so I can't afford the 256GB version although I would love to. If you have any other suggestions for drives that would be faster then my RAID0 array without busting the bank please feel free to fill me in!

PS been a long time since I've posted on OCN but glad to be back!!thumb.gif

Crucial M4, Samsung 830 or 840 Pro, OCZ Vertex 4 or Vector; they're all great, so choose whichever you can get the best deal on thumb.gif

I agree. Running a vertex 4 for about 2.5 months without a single problem so far.

The Vertex/Agility 2 & 3 drives were notorious for failures, but OCZ has fixed that problem starting with the Vertex/Agility 4's. The Vector's are a little more expensive, but newer and faster. I've been using a Vertex 4 as my main drive for about seven months now and even at 75% or more full most of that time period it's still very snappy.

firmware updates fixed the issues, SandForce drives are fine now. Agility sries sucks like it always did lol.

No point in wasting money on drives not on sale imo.
