Ye just to get through the green stuff, if it doesn't work on the first try go a bit deeper. Better safe than sorry.

Anyone had any succes with this? I can't use my headset in the front audio connectors due to irritating noise problems.

I can confirm that this works! Had to cut fairly deep though, but didn't split the board into two pieces.

In addition, this also fixed the bluetooth audio issues I was having.

I also have some problems with audio and bluetooth. No sound goes through front panel mic in and also bluetooth has jitter. What kind of bluetooth issue did you have?
