Opty 165 Stepping

Whats the stepping on this processor? Is it the thing in the bottom of wcpuid? I'm noob . Does anyone know about this stepping? Pretty oc'able?

Only way to figure out the stepping of a CPU is to look at the IHS. That would require, obviously, taking of the HSF, etc, etc.

You will have to look on the IHS to get the stepping of the CPU. As far as I know, there is not any software out that can tell you that.

Give that a look might help... keep in mind that these are the best averages so what works for others may not work for you. But it should be close.

the stepping would be on the IHS of the processor. right below wehre it says AMD Opteron.

you'd be looking for a CCBWE or a CCBBE
