I know what he means under water. when I used my iGPU everything seemed brighter. Now with my 660ti there is less brightness even in the bios.

Try a different display output. What did you upgrade to a 670 from?

When I say playing underwater, I mean that when i move everything is slow like i'm meeting resistance. So if I jump in borderlands 2, its like everything in slow motion. Basically its just really slow.
I tried changing all my settings, but the only thing that worked was going back to older drivers. As for upgrade, this is a new build with a brand new GPU. Before that, I was running dual GTX460 in SLI.
Aside from that, it everything looks fine, its just unplayable.

In League and MW:O it just crashed the game as if i hit ALT+F4. Running the 306.97 drivers has worked worked but none of the higher ones are working. I am also not over or under clocking at all. Everything is stock settings at the moment.

I've gotten it to work around by installing older drivers, 306.97 that aren't optomized for a lot of my other games, and aren't as crisp.
Aside from that, i'm not getting any errors, so i don't think it is a hardware issue.

It annoys me, because i've been running the newest AMD drivers on my laptop and been really happy with them. And my more powerful desktop just isn't as nice. Also lacrossewacker thank you for looking out for me, I appreciate the help. I'd rather not waste money too, if i'm just being an idiot.

Can't say about the other games but Legue of legends used to crash just as much when I was running two radeon 4890's. Its not the drivers fault, its just the game it self that is somewhat unstable.

I find it funny that people seem appalled at the truth that nvidia could possibly have driver issues too! The OP is not alone. Everyone's experiences are different... I like both companies products and have owned probably more nvidia throughout my years than AMD/ATi, but I've had always had consistently better luck on the "red side".

Regardless, you shouldn't be experiencing those issues. I would personally try entirely uninstalling the drivers from the system and fresh installing latest official driver. Also, make sure it's not a problem with somewhere else in the build. Also, I'd probably just verify all your bios settings are correct also... Is your GPU in your top-most PCI-E with sufficient power from power supply?

As for Borderlands 2... are you running with PhysX on high by any chance? I've heard that even people with nvidia cards often have issues running with PhysX on high... I run it on high with my 7970 and over-all it's ok, but my card and CPU are overclocked a decent bit.

I personally think something else is causing this, though you did say that the older drivers are working OK... I'd first try the completely uninstalling current drivers, uninstall GPU in device manager and also tick the box to remove the existing driver (plus uninstall all nvidia software/drivers). Reboot and when clean, install latest WHQL driver.
