I've personally used an NZXT Sentry Mesh for Scythe Slipstreams and some Scythe Ultra KAZE fans which draw about 8 watts a piece. So no, I haven't actually used that particular GT fan.
Something you should know, a 5400 rpm fan is going to be very loud, as I'm sure you're away. The NZXT controller only allows you to drop them down to 40% and doesn't actually feature an OFF position. Maybe not a concern for you, but something to at least consider.
It'll do just fine for 5 of those GT's if you had em.
yes, that's the thing I overlooked when I purchased the fan controller because I need to deal with the loudness of the fan quickly. lol. So I just need a fan controller that had to keep the GT in low power while browsing the net, and then pump the fan up when gaming/under heavy load, so basically I don't need an OFF feature for the fan controller. Thanks mate!
