So i bought a nvidia geforce gt 610 2gb card went to install it in dell studio xps 8100 the card does not have the 6 pin power plug on the card at all and when i install it what it does is just beep black screen.. the fan on the card runs. i think it has to be connected to the 6 pin plug but i am not sure. mad.gif

GeForce 610's require no extra power connectors. They draw all their power through the PCIe slot.

Can you fill out the rest of your specs for your rig? That will help us troubleshoot better. More than likely, you have a defective card or the power supply isn't putting out enough juice.

Do you have the on-board video disabled in the bios and have it set to PCIe (PEG) or whatever dell calls it?
