its 6 foot by 3 foot and 0.118 inch thick

my plan is to cut it to 3x3

*
in the picture where the monitor and computer are is where i want to make a box out of this stuff
pretty much it will be like this picture only the middle bar that connects one side to the other will not be there.

*
that would be the size view

the bottom left L lets call the front, right side will be facing the wall..
the two L tabs will be 1 inch
the front and back vertical pieces will be 11" high and the remainder will be the top length.

havent worked with this stuff before but i have a heat gun and time to kill.
will that size be enough to support a 13lb led tv that will sit on it (same one in the pic)

the other 3 x 3 will be used to place the motherboards from a ps3, xbox, and my mpower in the box i'm making at a 45 degree angle
behind them will be the rads for liquid cooling for all three.
the sides (what you see in the second picture) will have the back 45deg closed and the front top 45 open with air filters to clean the air before it goes over the mother boards.

Acrylic is pretty strong stuff. To be safe, I would have the acrylic you use for the surface at least 10mm thick. I think anything thinner will bow in the middle. I would do some tests. Maybe pop into a hardware store and see how flexible it is at that width.

0.118 inch is 2.9972mm
so way under what you're advising.

that sucks.. this stuff is expensive.
