Using ivy bridge will i see that much of a differance? I'm getting the kit for cheap it's..

You won't really notice a difference no. Things might be a wee-bit faster, but apart from that, it's negligible

In normal usage and gaming? Little to no noticeable difference. If you're doing highly multi-threaded workloads that use a ton of ram, like photo or video editing, you'll get a nice boost in performance. Depending on how cheap you're getting this kit, it might be worth doing. Is this upgrade for the M17x in your sig?

actually its part of a rebuild of my desktop, The mobo died and took my last kit with it, So its a pair of 4GB sticks at 2133mhz, I do alot of streaming and i've notice that these are very high timings but i am under the impression that sandy and ivy in general don't care about timing so much where as AMD prefers tighter timings.


this will be paired with a 3770k That will be phase change cooled to negatives

Actually, those timings aren't bad at all for a decent 2133 kit. You should see a nice increase in performance with your intended use for it.
